Community “Hunger Games” to Benefit BSCAH
This past Saturday, July 6th, several community nonprofits gathered for a day of kickball, three-legged races, and balloon tosses. These ‘Hunger Games’ were all part of an event to support the Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger. All told, community members were able to collect 400 nonperishable items for our food pantry, all during a day of fun, healthy activity. You can read more here. Thanks to the Brooklyn Good Guys for coordinating this fruitful partnership! We look forward to continuing to work with them toward building community awareness and positive community action in the fight to end hunger!
