TCAH’s mission is to empower our neighbors to live healthier, more productive, and self-sufficient lives by increasing their access to safe, nutritious food and other related resources.
Before the COVID19 pandemic, TCAH served 300,000 food-insecure New Yorkers through expanding healthy food access, workforce programs and training, benefits access services, urban farming, and community nutrition education. Since the pandemic, TCAH has served over 2 million individuals, providing enough food for over 30 million nutritious meals.
